LOCAL Provides Clean Up of Decommissioned Equipment for Dell Transport Ltd.

LOCAL successfully secured a contract to deliver on-site equipment services, focusing on the processing and removal of end-of-life and decommissioned equipment at the truck yard for Dell Transport in Castlegar. This collaborative partnership highlighted a mutual commitment to safety and sustainability by ensuring proper disposal practices were followed throughout the entire process.

The project commenced with LOCAL mobilizing their specialized tools, including the mobile shear and magnet. These tools play a crucial role in efficiently processing and loading metals from the truck yard, ensuring a streamlined and efficient operation from start to finish.

To optimize the cleanup process, LOCAL provided metal recycling bins on-site. By doing this, LOCAL was able to streamline the cleanup process and ensure that the decommissioned equipment was safely transported back to their metal recycling facility in Genelle, BC. Once the metal was taken to the facility, LOCAL ensured green recycling practices were followed.

Following the cleanup of decommissioned equipment, LOCAL conducted a meticulous sweep of the area to guarantee that no metallic debris remained. This process not only minimized potential impact on their clients’ future operations, but also provided them with a work environment free of any potential hazards.
